The Christian Life Movement (CLM) was born in 1985, in Lima, Peru. At that time, a number of initiatives from members of the Sodalitium Christianae Vitae, now a Society of Apostolic Life, had already begun to bloom. Luis Fernando Figari (LFF), the founder of the Sodalitium and the MArian Community of Reconciliation conceived the idea of gathering those people and initiatives together in an ecclesiastic movement. Thus, the CLM was born as fruit of an apostolate and blessed by the Holy Spirit.

CLM communities have been spreading throughout the world. As time went by, with the maturity and the growth of the movement, it received the Vatican's recognition as an International Association of Christian Faithful of Pontifical Right. [More details]
